International Organization for the Defense of Women's Rights

A non-profit international organization working to promote justice and protect the rights of women and girls as inalienable human rights. We operate on the firm belief that equality is not only a moral goal but also a prerequisite for sustainable development, social peace, and economic prosperity. Our organization works through an integrated system of evidence-based research, legal and policy advocacy, capacity building, and specialized support for survivors, in addition to mobilizing communities and cross-border partnerships to create lasting institutional change.

We link evidence to action, transforming data into decisions, and decisions into tangible impact.

Our Principles and Values

We listen to survivors and place their experiences at the heart of solutions and policies.

Evidence before decisions
our policies and programs are guided by accurate data, contextual analyses, and measurable indicators.
Feminist Leadership and Meaningful Participation
We design and implement our programs with and for women, ensuring survivors’ voices are included at every stage of the project cycle.
Integrity, Transparency, and Accountability
We are committed to good governance, responsible resource management, and clear mechanisms for evaluation and learning.
Governance and Compliance

The organization is managed through an independent Board of Trustees, technical and advisory committees, and strict policies to protect beneficiaries and prevent exploitation, abuse, and harassment. It implements procedures for risk management and conflict of interest, and ensures compliance with data protection and privacy frameworks. We adhere to international standards for humanitarian and financial accountability and undergo regular independent audits.

Our Methodology
Comprehensive Programs and Solutions
We design phased interventions covering prevention, protection, response, and reintegration; provide referral services and psychosocial and legal support for survivors; build the capacity of service providers; and develop practical tools for both public and private sectors.
Community empowerment and behavioral change
We engage local leaders, influencers, and grassroots organizations in campaigns to change harmful norms, build pathways for youth and women's leadership, and leverage media and digital spaces to combat hate speech and disinformation.
Legal and Policy Advocacy
We contribute to drafting and refining legislation, aligning it with relevant international conventions (such as CEDAW), and monitor implementation through accountability mechanisms, periodic reports, and advocacy before national, regional, and international bodies.
Partnerships and Alliances
We work within international and regional networks and alliances to enhance knowledge exchange, cross-border coordination, and resource mobilization, ensuring a wide-ranging and sustainable impact.
Make an impact

he future we want starts today—with a courageous decision and a tangible action.

Together, we can turn commitments into tangible and measurable results, and make equality a lived reality, not just a slogan.
